Elegant brass dreidel with a colorful ceramic base.
Delicate hand-sawn leaves decorate the dreidel. Amongst them are the Hebrew letters ‘Nun’ for ‘ness’ (miracle), ‘Gimel’ for ‘gadol’ (large/great), ‘Hei’ for ‘haya’ (was/happened), ‘Pey’ for ‘poh’ (here). Because the Hanukkah miracle happened in Israel, Israeli dreidels have the letters for ‘a great miracle happened here‘ while dreidels anywhere else in the world usually have the letter ‘Shin’ for ‘sham’ (there) – ‘a great miracle happened there‘.
The ceramic bases come in different colors like green, purple, blue, red and more.
