Crocheted Preemie Octopus

Inspired by the wonderful ‘Octopus for a Preemie’ project, these oh-so-soft octopuses are crocheted by hand of 100% cotton yarn. They adhere to the strictest international standards for incubator and premature baby comfort dolls, including head size, tentacle length and filling.

The preemies will grasp the soft tentacles, giving them the comforting feeling of being in their mother’s womb, grasping her umbilical cord. This also helps to avoid them pulling on the wires and tubes that are usually nearby.

The dolls are machine washable and come in a variety of colors.
